Orvieto is a round rosette handle designed by Nicola Novelletto in collaboration with Roberto Volonterio. Together with Siena, it stems from a study of the classical forms, reinterpreted through careful work on proportion and balance. The project preserves the marks of tradition and the memory of the past, translating them into a door handle with a measured language, capable of dialoguing with contemporary interiors.

Orvieto, 1997
The Orvieto and Siena handles were conceived with Roberto Volonterio. Both handles stem from research into “classical” shapes. The proportions and balances make these door and window handles extremely contemporary while preserving the signs of tradition and the memory of the past.
As an independent designer, Novelletto has designed the most varied objects: home accessories, taps, handles, sports equipment and even motor boats.
